CAS-37 Series: DC-25 GHz 3-State Attenuated Switch

Description
The 3-State Attenuated switch was designed to allow users to switch between three different states:
  • Through Path (low loss)
  • Attenuated Path (known high loss)
  • Open State (with path for user to ground)

The 3-State Attenuated Switch eliminates the use of external cables or attenuators maximizing RF characteristics and minimizing space and weight. 

The 3-State Attenuated Switch is ideal for test & measurement applications in which high frequency signal attenuation is needed. The 3-State Attenuated Switch offers linear attenuation up to 25 GHz. Other features include low loss in the through path and a well-matched contact system which produces low reflection.

GA152 Ultraminiature High Repeatability Attenuator Surface-Mount Relay DC-5GHz

Description 
The Series GA152 highly repeatable ultraminiature attenuator surface-mount relays are designed for attenuating RF signals in 50-ohm systems over a frequency range from DC to 5 GHz. Their low profile and small grid spacing makes them ideal for use when packaging density is a prime consideration. The GA152 relays eliminate the need for additional external resistors/attenuators.

The ultraminiature GRF312 relay is designed to improve upon the GRF300/GRF303 relay's high frequency performance. The GRF312 offers monotonic insertion loss to 8 GHz. This improvement in RF insertion loss over the frequency range makes these relays highly suitable for use in attenuator and other RF circuits.

Description 
The latching single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) electromechanical switch offers an insertion loss repeatability of ±0.1dB across the full bandwidth. On narrow band applications, the insertion loss repeatability can be as good as ±0.05dB with ultra low PIM (Passive Intermodulation). Switch life is characterized at 5 million cycles.
