Lector 620 Code Reader from SICK

Germany-based SICK, a manufacturer of sensors and sensing systems for industrial applications, has launched a code reader called Lector 620, for tracking and tracing purposes, enhancing decoding operations, performing periodic identification and avoiding reading issues.

According to SICK, the Lector 620 range provides live de-coding of all the images recognized with 60 Hz frequency. The Lector 620 can be deployed for counterfeit tracking, code detection on packaging for identifying the date and serial number code. SICK remarks that Lector 620 is two thirds tinier than several other 2D code readers and delivers rapid analysis of the read rate operation and the code standard offers effective control applications.

According to SecuringPharma.com, Lector 620 is swift for the functioning of pharmaceutical packaging series. Apart from the laser-enabled set up guidance, the device offers an LED-display and parameterisation button on the device for enhancing decoding activity and timely identification and elimination of reading issues.

SICK’s spokesperson stated, that the reader also has some optional functionalities for easy integration, containing a laser-arrangement option for actual localization and reposition.
