The new M18 shape E3FC family is best fit for tough environments in food processing industry with regular cleaning cycles. Protected by a full-body SUS316L housing the sensor is further filled with epoxy resin at the connector/cable back-end, which guarantees superior protection against high-pressure cleaning and industrial detergents. As a result the sensor has significantly increased life-time in wash-down applications saving total costs for the user. The durability of the sensor is proven with various detergents of Ecolab and Diversey as well as with heat-shock test in surface-tensioned water. The family offers a complete line-up of through-beam, retro-reflective, diffuse-reflective and background suppression models. It shares optical performance with recently introduced E3FA/E3FB family. This means enhanced sensing distance, bright visible red LED for all models and fast response time in user friendly compact housing.
