Honeywell & Rebuilding Together Make A Difference In The Community

Volunteers from Honeywell and partner Rebuilding Together have lent a helping hand to enhance their local communities.

In Elk River, MN, volunteers replaced nearly a mile of fencing, painted porches, cleared brush from trails, and repaired, built and painted picnic tables at the Oliver H. Kelley Farm, a National Historic Landmark.

In Chicago, IL, volunteers planted, mulched and cleared debris from the campus at Veterans Memorial Campus, which is home to three United Neighborhood Organization Charter Schools. The facility is on its way to earning LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

In Raleigh, NC, volunteers beautified CASA’s headquarters by creating a gathering space for employees and clients, installing new shutters and awnings, and repainting sheds and catwalks. They also installed new Honeywell programmable thermostats to help make the buildings more energy efficient.

In Providence, RI, volunteers renovated the historic Groden Greenhouse at North Burial Ground’s Babyland area to create a more serene, beautiful place for those paying respects to lost infants. Volunteer also built picnic tables, painted fencing and installed a new railing near the greenhouse.
