SMI SM5852 series OEM pressure sensors combines state-of-the-art SMI pressure sensor technology with signal conditioning to produce a fully signal conditioned, amplified, temperature compensated sensor in a dual in-line package (DIP) configuration. The device also is available in a surface mount (SMT) configuration. Combining the sensor and signal conditioning circuitry in a single package simplifies the use of advanced silicon micromachined pressure sensors.
The pressure sensor can be directly mounted to a standard printed circuit board and no additional components are required for obtaining an amplified high level calibrated pressure measurement. The SM5852 series is mechanically the same size as the SMI SM5852 parts. Thus, the product provides not only a calibrated sensor but also amplification in the same footprint of the previous device.

The SM5852 Series pressure sensors are constructed by attaching a highly stable, piezoresistive pressure sensor chip to a ceramic substrate. An electronically programmable ASIC provides calibration and temperature compensation. The sensor output is ratiometric with the supply voltage. A digital output is also avaiable.

3 models with varying ranges include:

SM5852-001 for 0.15 psi
SM5852-003, 004 or 015 (0.3 psi, 0.4 psi or 1.5 psi)
SM5852-015W (NEW!!) for measuring 0 - 0.05 psi (1.5" H2O)
