Safety switches with separate actuator are made up of two parts. The safety switch is mounted on the fixed part and the actuator on the mobile part of the protective device. When the protective device is closed, the actuator is moved into the safety switch. This achieves the safe status and the safety-relevant contacts are closed. Variants are available with different shapes and functions for corresponding applications.
